John Law and the Mississippi Bubble

John Law and the Mississippi Bubble is a 1978 National Film Board animated short by Richard Condie about one of the first stock market bubbles. The film is sort of endearingly silly in a seventies era NFB sort of way, but it is slightly unnerving that it could just as easily be about the housing bubble or the dot-com bubble or any of the endless series of bubbles that followed the Mississippi bubble.
